Hi, I’m Tess.
I’m the owner and founder of The Hoof & Paw Co.
 
I took my first riding lesson at age 6 and declared, “Mommy, I finally found my passion in life.” To the detriment of my parents’ bank accounts and sanity, I was uninterested in anything that didn’t involve animals. Every show and tell, every school project, every writing prompt had one of two themes: Dogs or horses.
 
After graduating from high school, I joined a volunteer fire department, where I earned my Firefighter and EMT certifications. I served on the department for a total of 5 years while balancing my college studies. It was there that I met my long term boyfriend, and after completing my Biology degree, we bought a small farm in a new town to start our next chapter.
 

My days still revolve around animals. When I’m not working, I’m hiking with our dogs - Ryker and Nala, tending to the chickens, or at the barn. I’m obsessed with houseplants (I lost count after 100), love to cook, and draw when I feel the muse. The rest of my time is spent working on various house/ barn/ property renovations, often “assisted” by our creatures.
 
Every path I’ve taken has led me to this brand. My love of science, nature, animals, and creativity was an organic gateway to The Hoof & Paw Co. I bring this passion into each formula, email, and package that leaves our lab- and I’m so very grateful that I get to express myself in a way that resonates with our customers.

How long will it take to get my order?

Our current processing time is 3-5 business days, as we make each product to order. Shipping speed is dependent on the service selected at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Are your bottles recyclable?

Yes! Our recyclable PET plastic bottles are BPA free and rated for food and beverage contact.

Do you use eco-friendly shipping materials?

We do! Our shipping boxes and plastic-free paper "bubble wrap" are reusable and recyclable.

Where do your ingredients and materials come from?

We source our ingredients from U.S. based small businesses. It is especially important to us that the suppliers we partner with practice sustainable acquisition, as well as perform routine purity testing.

Do you have any current discounts?

You'll see current promotions listed on the header of our homepage. If you're ordering for the first time, you can click the "10% off" button in the bottom left corner of the screen to sign up for our email list and get our Welcome discount.

Can I buy your products at a retail location?

We currently sell online only, however our products are available in limited quantities at pop-up locations on the East Coast. We send out notifications of these pop-ups via email.
