The Hoof & Paw Co.'s Manuka Honey Salve for dogs, horses & humans is nature's answer to wounds, burns, hot spots, bruises, insect bites and more. Its base is a cold oil infusion of Witch Hazel, Arnica, Marshmallow and Calendula. Our formula contains New Zealand Manuka Honey with 850+ MGO, offering superior antimicrobial and healing activity. Beeswax holds the salve together, and helps the skin restore its natural barrier during the healing process.
Ingredients: 850+ MGO Manuka Honey, Beeswax, Olive Oil Infusion: Witch Hazel, Arnica, Marshmallow, Calendula
Directions for dogs, horses and humans: Apply Manuka Salve two times daily for 1-2 weeks or until desired results are achieved.
Notes: For exterior use only on dogs, horses and humans. Store in cool area, out of direct sunlight. To avoid allergic reaction, test on a small patch before use on larger area. Supervise after application to avoid excessive licking.

Sofar, so good! This product is calming down the hotspots on my 12 year-old Shih Tzu Yorkie, who and suddenly developed almost a psoriatic skin condition in her old age possibly due to a chicken allergy which we’ve now eliminated from her diet.. This product has helped us and has broken the cycle of repeated antibiotics, steroids, and antifungals that the vet has had to give her; this product coupled with an herbal Pet allergy supplement has boosted her immune system and calmed down her skin.

Helped my dogs rash on his belly.
We're renovating our house and unfortunately, a piece of debris fell from the second floor and struck my GSD in the face, on the bridge of his nose. I was panicking because it was just gushing blood, although he didn't seem very phased by it. The gash was very deep, decently wide, and we were going back and forth about bringing him to the vet, but realized that the area wouldn't take sutures very well. We opted to treat and monitor at home. I cleaned it up, and immediately applied this salve. It stopped the active bleeding right away. I applied it 3x a day for the first week, 2x a day for the second week, and once a day now on week three. I'm absolutely blown away at the progress. The gash was completely closed by the end of week one. By the end of week 2, there was no sign of any redness or irritation. We're on week three and there's just a small scab now- one you would expect from a minor scratch. I will continue to apply until the scab is gone, and hopefully it will help the hair come back on his nose!
